What are "Privacy Transactions"?
Privacy Transactions on the DataPassports™ Public Privacy Network™ are standardized request and response messages between individuals and businesses, or AI agents. These transactions are capable of exercising consumer data privacy rights and capturing the voluntary, informed consent needed by trustworthy organizations who respectfully seek permission to use the personally sensitive data that they acquire on any given individual.
Human verifiable by design
All Privacy Transactions are mutually verifiable, meaning that they are recorded in the Privacy Accounts of all parties to the transaction in real time. Transactions must follow the DataPassports™ Network Rules & Guidelines to be accepted and to meet the legal requirements of consumer data privacy laws, where applicable.

Verifiable Consent transactions are financial-grade, digital consent transactions designed to be true to the principles of voluntary, informed consent of the individual. When a trustworthy business acquires an individual’s personally sensitive data then they must have Verifiable Consent for its use.
